tip tip tip tip baarish shuru ho gayi...

Here I am, sitting in sweltering heat, with a temperature of 48 degree Celsius that makes you sweat even while taking a bath, and to add insult to my injury, Hindustan Times takes out a special edition welcoming rains. Its a Delhi supplement where rains are still a month away..but I think they pre-poned the edition for loss of other things to write upon..weird..so it made me miss rains even more and so indirectly made me miss Mumbai again..

Why do I like rains so much? Its dirty during that time..you get late for classes..you have to wash more clothes..you shiver under the fan in class..you cant travel much..but in spite of all tat, its beautiful..everything is wet and green..so green..the sea is even more scenic..you enjoy your cup of hot tea or coffee more than ever..its almost the most romantic season..everything seems fresh and washed..cleansed of all negativity..aahhhhhh…I reallllyyy miss rains..

One of my favorite smells is the smell of wet earth..the way mitti smells when it rains for the first time..saundhi mitti ki khushboo..and today I read in the same edition I talked about above that they are making a perfume of the same fragrance..which is to be made by steam distillation of baked earth on sandalwood..X(X(X( I hate them for that..some things are natural..let them be..how can you trap one of the most gladdening aromas in a bottle X(X(..huhhhhh..as if anyways it would be the same..its not the smell alone which people love..its the ambience of rain that comes along with it..so much for trying..
